Hi everyone! Just a few notes I forgot to mention in the intro:
This method is an amalgamation of several tutorials I have followed (particularly this one: https://inthefolds.com/blog/2016/2/22...) plus my own learnings and experiences I've made, from fashion school to my more DIY approach in recent years.

This is not a professional or scientific method - it is what works for me.

Technically speaking anyone following this precisely should achieve a working result. Human proportions can be complex though and the result therefore might differ from what you see in my version.
