April 20th, 2024 Cross Country schooling at Copper Meadows to prepare for the one-day Sun Series show. We had fun rocking around the beginner novice and novice courses doing a one-day clinic with Susan ahead of the One Day Sun Series show on April 21st. He felt quite confident and full of himself aside for a few silly moments and when he caught his feet on the back end of a novice hanging log and then didnt want to jump it when we came back to it. We did the beginner novice one and left the scene of the crime, and then came back around again after jumping a few other things and then he was game to jump it again. The grass was really long and I wanted to be able to gallop a little more confidently, and we had to be very careful not to lose the path for our course otherwise it was very easy to get lost.
