Listen to the relaxing city sounds and falling rain while Bounty Archive gives new life to a 50 year-old book that has fallen apart. This video serves as a DIY guide for anyone looking to restore, or create a custom hardcover for any paperback book.

I devoured this book on organic farming and homesteading, literally! By the time I finished reading, most of the pages had fallen-out and made a mess. This project was the perfect opportunity to show off my new method for foil transfer on bookcloth.

I hope that you enjoy the sights, sounds, and general sensations evoked by this video and are challenged to use some of the featured techniques to make something functional and beautiful.
If you have questions about this process, materials, or bookbinding, just ask me in the comments. I read them all, and I try to reply as soon as possible.

The book featured in this video is "Living the good Life how to Live Sanely and Simply in a Troubled World" by Helen and Scott Nearing.
