Synopsis: Alterior celebrates Black Alternative voices in a society that often puts them in a box. It explores identity, connection, and community safety. Through intimate setups and spoken word it amplifies Black voices whilst looking beyond the aesthetic.

Director Bio: Terrie Aghaizu (she/they) is a creative mainly working in narrative short films and TV dramas. They have recently worked on the upcoming season of Apple TV’s Slow Horses. Terrie has been commissioned by Warner Bros. Discovery to be the creative lead on a short documentary exploring the alt/punk/grunge identity through the lens of Black people in the subculture.
