Perhaps it goes without saying, but I genuinely enjoy running dungeons alone. They are an admixture of comfort and terror, qualities that are perhaps in total opposition, but that is the best way I know how to articulate the feelings I derive from them. So I decided to try to run a full gauntlet, mainly to see if I could do it. This challenge took considerable time and effort, largely because I wanted to make sure to run each class at least once. I was tempted to take the homogeneous single-class approach, but I stayed with my initial goal, which adds a layer of difficulty. Season of the Haunted has given us a lot of survival options (Classy Restoration, I am looking at you), which made this run more manageable, but that does not mitigate some of the tricky jumping sequences or general encounter timing. In other words, you have to stay on the map and beat the timer where necessary!

Some of these completions are far from ideal; I made some early mistakes at Nightmare of Caiatl that extended Duality by an extra fifteen minutes or so. Additionally, I took a very conservative approach to each. The knights at Dul Incaru were buggy, so that was something I had to contend with. You will no doubt see places in which I could have attempted a riskier or more effective damage strategy. My goal from the beginning, however, was to maintain the flawless. Keep it simple, and don't make any mistakes. Speed and absolute efficiency were secondary.

My last thought is that perhaps the greatest challenge here is maintaining concentration through every part. Some of the mistakes you will see result from my mind starting to drift a bit. That said, I am happy to have completed this gauntlet, and I am more than willing to talk strategy or answer questions.

As far as loadout, I cannot recommend Osteo Striga strongly enough. I am particularly impressed at how well it helps with majors and bosses. While it is not at all a main dps method, it fills a number of roles quite well. For solos, Cataclysmic is now a better LFR option than Stormchaser. I used the latter during a lot of my early practice runs, but it was weakened pretty considerably on July 19.

If you are considering jumping into dungeon solos, this a fantastic season to do it, so get going! #destiny2 #omynous #soloflawlessdungeon
