Effective Python is a great book if you know a bit of python and want to take your skills to the next level. It contains tens of tips indicating better ways of using python effectively. It has a beautiful structure in that you can read all the tips in three pages, and dig deeper into the ones you want to learn more. Books like this have a long shelf-life because every time you pick it up, you may pick up a few of these tips and start using them in your routine.
