They met in Virginia Beach at a bar called "The Back Deck".
They were introduced to each other by Alyssa's best friend Theresa, who was also friends with Nick.
It is now their favorite place in Virginia Beach!

It was an instant connection. But with Nick in Virginia and Alyssa in New
Hampshire, it was tempered by the distance. After a year of dating, Alyssa
decided to move to Virginia. Nick knew Boston was Alyssa's favorite city
and held a special place in her heart. So he made sure to propose in Boston common.

Nick is the calm to Alyssa’s “crazy”.
They truly are best friends who love doing pretty much anything
together. They love to to watch football (especially the Patriots), spend
summer nights on the water in Virginia Beach, and take road trips anywhere!
They are always laughing with or at each other, and they both admit
that they are complete weirdos. But they are each other’s weirdos!
