A couple months ago, Vic over at @FunctionalHistories approached me about getting involved with a project that would involve multiple YouTube channels and a broken car traveling thousands of miles across the country from Washington state to Dayton, Ohio. It sounded absolutely nuts. So yeah, I'm in - and thus, Project Stone Soup was born.

Donated to Vic by Scott at @heavensmopars , this Lancer is - as you can see - more than a little rough. My place (and also @rocketresto ) will be the first step in the car's long journey. For my part, I'd like to get the car running and movable - and that will also include donating a few parts from my mountain of junk. So let's find out what we've got to work with here. Scott informed me that the slant six is seized, so that sounds like a good place to start.
