On August 24th, I guide four brave Subarus that want to attempt to drive up one of the tallest drivable peaks in the USA, Imogene Pass (13,114 feet). We drove up the more technical Ouray side. This is our story!

Please note that all Subarus in this video are modified and you should be very careful about sending a stock AWD up this 4WD moderate trail. All Subarus in this video have disconnected or deleted front & rear sway bars and upgraded suspension (either Ironman ATS coil over kit or Raceworks Coil Overs). All Subarus have upgraded transmission cooling, and we took periodic breaks to let temperatures cool down.

Imogene pass will be very difficult for any vehicle that does not have a low gear transfer case or aggressive gearing. Please do not attempt if you and/or your vehicle is not prepared.

Traffic jams can cause a lot of issues on this trail.
