UPDATED PARTS LIST BELOW:

ROKON two wheel drive motorcycles are not really supposed to be fast, but who doesn't want more power?! I was not impressed at first until I threw it in low gear and climbed a 5ft steep pile of dirt from a dead stop! In that moment I realized that this was the crawler of dirt bikes and I fell in love. But if you could have a crawler with a little more power and speed, wouldn't that be the best of both worlds? I think so. These things are cool enough as slow crawlers but if you want a modified, quicker Rokon, this video should give you some ideas as to what is possible.

I was hired by the owner of this ROKON to double the horsepower. This video is not meant to be a how to video, but shows you what I did to swap engines and double the horsepower of this newer 2021 ROKON Mototractor bike. I also removed the stock headlight and added an aftermarket LED light bar that uses a lot less power and makes way more light! If you do this swap you will need the lower power light as the Tillotson does not have as beefy a charging system as the Kohler. They must have done a special version for Rokon because the charging coils are very beefy in the the Kohler.

You will note that my quickness and speed measurements were not very scientific between the before and after Rokon engine mods. I was not very excited about the the bike before so I didn't take the time to do it very well. Measuring with the same app, it was pretty clearly twice as quick to get to 20mph. Take it for what it's worth!
Cheers!
