This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2024 Acura Integra Type s compact sport premium sedan. The Acura Integra Type S has a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an exclusive 6-speed manual transmission with rev matching, 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This is a FWD model and premium fuel is recommended.
This is the most powerful Acura Integra ever and is an absolute blast to drive, it’s a perfect car for people who want something a little more grown up and sophisticated. This Acura Integra Type S has a firm suspension, sharp steering, standard limited slip differential, an adaptive damper system, a Type S specific exhaust system featuring three round exhaust outlets and an active exhaust valve, Brembo brake calipers and 4 drive modes, comfort, sport, sport+ and individual. Sport+ takes it to another level with plenty of pops and bangs.
The Acura Integra Type S offers 4” of ground clearance, it is 2.8” wider than the standard Integra giving it a more muscular look with its bold wide body fenders and vented hood. It has gloss black exterior accents, a gloss black grille and tailgate spoiler, jewel eye LED headlights, LED taillights, Type S badging, wide 19” NSX inspired wheels with summer performance tires and a tire repair kit.
This Acura Integra is 4-passenger liftback is comfortable and spacious. It comes standard with a 9” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 10.2” digital driver display, perforated Ultrasuede/leatherette front seats with a Type S embossed headrest and a leather shift knob. I wish Acura carried the Ultrasuede trimmed seats to the rear as the red leatherette is a bit polarizing without some black trim.
The Acura Integra Type S is missing some features like ventilated fronts seats, driver seat memory, a power passenger seat, moonroof and heated rear seats.
Fuel economy, the Type S gets 11.1L/100 km, 21 MPG city and 8.3L/100 km, 28 MPG highway.

Priced at $58,320 C$AD/$50,800 USD.
