In honor of course architect Pete Dye's original intent and an infamous tree that was overhanging on the 6th hole tee box, the team at TPC Sawgrass found and moved a massive tree to recreate the intimidation factor. Davis Love III, two-time winner of THE PLAYERS Championship, was brought in to help oversee the work on No. 6 along with some modifications to several other holes.
