Cross Winds Airport in Clayton, WA was abandoned after a 2014 windstorm destroyed two of its three hangars. The airfield was tilled and turned into a crop field, and the last airplane, a 1948 Ryan Navion (N4616K), was left to rot. The hangar still stands, and I visit the Navion every summer because I can't help but feel sad for it.
