Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) is said to be buried in the Palestinian town of Al-Khalil, which means the friend, this is how Allah described Ibrahim in the Quran. The Hebrew name is Hebron. Interestingly this is the second most holiest place in Judaism, and this is a Mosque, and Jews can only visit it some few days in a year, while it is open to Muslims most of the time.

The Tombs of Prophet Isaac and his wife Rebecca and Prophet Abraham's wife Sarah is also in this Mosque, named Al Haram Al Ibrahimi Al Shareef (Prophet Abraham Holy Mosque), Al Khalil (Hebron)
