Want to make a perfect Cappuccino at home? It's not easy. There is a balance between espresso, steamed milk, and foam. Also steaming a enough foam for a cappuccino can be a complicated process. I demonstrate with step by step instructions how you can make a perfect cappuccino right in the comfort of your own home. I use a Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso machine, so making the espresso and steaming the foam are done using an espresso machine. The process is easy to follow and will help you be your own at home barista. I use 2% milk and Starbucks espresso roast that was ground at Starbucks on the espresso setting. This is an easy way to make a Cappuccino and save some money! If you would like flavor (vanilla syrup, etc.) add that to the coffee cup prior to pouring in the espresso.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cappuccino Ingredients:
1/3 espresso - 2oz
1/3 steamed milk - 2oz
1/3 foam - visual inspection when adding foam

Steps:
1. Prep Espresso Shot
2. Steam milk (3oz) to 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Note* Move the frothing wand so it stays at the top of the steamed milk as the foam grows.
3. Drop espresso shots (2 oz) and add to cup
4. Pour 2 oz milk in and scoup foam ontop of espresso milk mixture
5. Enjoy and save some money!

When steaming milk for a Cappuccino:
It is important to note that you want the tip of the steaming wand to stay on the surface of the milk as the foam increases. This is the secret to continuing to grow the foam.
