Why is Khalid Ibn al Walid the greatest warrior or general of all time? Well he is responsible for completely destroying the Byzantine Empire, Sassanian Empire, Ghassanids and Lakhmids. As well as bringing the Persian empire to their knees and causing massive casualties to the Roman empire. He carried out some expeditions that aren't even possible with the modern army. Such as dividing his army in 3 groups and guessing the time and the pace extremely precious. He strategically navigated vast desert expanses, overcoming logistical challenges without sufficient resources, such as water and food, to reach and capture key territories.

Despite having fewer resources, less experience, and being outnumbered, the Arab forces showed incredible courage by taking on not just one but two massive empires at the same time. They faced a monumental challenge, going against powerful opponents who had more money, technology, and troops. It was like taking on two giants with only a fraction of their strength. This bold move showed immense bravery and determination on the part of the Arab fighters, who dared to challenge the oldest and most powerful empires of that time, even when the odds were heavily stacked against them.

In every battle, Khalid was always ready to face the other commander head-on. He never turned away from a fight and never suffered defeat. What's remarkable is that he often had fewer soldiers than the enemy. His army was simple and kind. They respected everyone's faith and never forced beliefs on others. They didn't take things that weren't theirs, hurt people, or make them slaves. Especially didnt rape anyone. Surprisingly, most folks in the areas they ruled were Christians, with many Jews and other faiths. Khalid's fair leadership paved the way for Islam to spread so far. Without him, I think Islam might not have reached as many people as it has today.

Khalid's tolerance as a general stemmed from his approach to governance, especially after conquering territories. He implemented policies that allowed for religious freedom, protected minorities, and often respected the cultures of the conquered lands. His tolerance was evident in his treatment of various communities, including Christians and Jews, allowing them to practice their faiths and retain their autonomy. Khalid also upheld agreements and treaties, offering fair terms to surrendering foes, which contributed to his reputation for being just and tolerant, particularly during a time when such attitudes weren't widespread among conquerors.

In conclusion, the Arab forces, under the leadership of Khalid ibn al-Walid, displayed exceptional valor by challenging two mighty empires despite overwhelming odds. Their bravery in taking on these colossal powers, armed with fewer resources and outnumbered troops, signifies an unparalleled level of courage and determination. Khalid's unwavering readiness to confront opposing commanders in battles, coupled with his consistent victories despite having smaller forces, speaks volumes about his military prowess and strategic brilliance.
What sets Khalid and his army apart was not just their military triumphs but also their humane and tolerant governance. They upheld values of respect, fairness, and kindness, allowing religious freedom and treating conquered peoples with dignity. Khalid's inclusive policies ensured that diverse communities, including Christians, Jews, and others, were respected and protected. This approach facilitated the widespread acceptance of Islam, fostering an environment where people from various faiths coexisted harmoniously.
