The weight jacker. Something that (to my knowledge) only Indy cars have, and only use on the ovals.


But what is it? What is this magic gadget? Is it another thing that people over complicate for no reason? Pretty much.


It's a great little device that helps the drivers on the Indycar oval side to keep the car under control and adapt to tyre wear, dirty air, fuel drop and even the wind. While good for performance, it's probably there for safety too.
