Palmetto is a historic club and course that has been crafted over the years by the likes of Dr. Alister MacKenzie, Donald Ross, Tom Doak, Gil Hanse, and other brilliant course architects. Not many places can also boast a clubhouse of utmost prominence, as the one at Palmetto was built by Stanford White. White also built the clubhouse at Shinnecock Hills - the first golf course clubhouse in the country.
