RTX 3090 Ti SLI: Bad Idea or Worst Idea?

After NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti last week, I decided to try 2-way SLI because I ended up with 2 cards -- the MSI Suprim X RTX 3090 Ti, which I reviewed on launch day, and the Palit GameRock RTX 3090 Ti which I'm using for an upcoming build tutorial. Here's what happened.
