Man vs. Bee may be one of the best written character studies I have ever come across, using its slapstick humor to delve deep into the chaotic internal struggles of self-acceptance, feelings of unworth, and the unconscious self-sabotage and destruction that can follow. Through Rowan Atkinson's Trevor Bingley and the titular Bee, Man vs. Bee communicates tragic notions about humanity and man's eternal quest to prove self-worth.
