I set out to make a large copper cube in this episode. I used a candle holder I had for the "cube" shape, some copper scraps I had, and Petrobond sand to get the shape of the holder and then open poured the copper into it. Once I started sanding on the cube to try and get it perfect, there were so many air bubbles on the top and more that kept appearing on the sides as I sanded that I decided to stop at a certain point and leave it as it was. It looks more like a Swiss cheese cube than a perfect flat surface that I was hoping for, but there's always next time. I ended up with a nice copper bar also so it's not all bad.
I hope you enjoy watching this one as much as I did making it.
