Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue has claimed Prince Harry's announcement that he is visiting the UK is “quite strategic”.

The Duke of Sussex is set to return to the UK to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his signature Invictus Games foundation, however, Meghan is not expected to join him.

"Harry’s been quite strategic in announcing his visit to the UK," Ms Krakue told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.

"I think that's something as well to buttress his case for heightened security.

"But, again, I personally suspect the case for the court of appeal will be unsuccessful, I don't think just making the argument to the court 'oh look poor me I couldn't bring my family over' is enough to overturn the national security arrangements."
