Fitting extra accessory mounts on your BMW RT1200 or 1250 can be a real problem because the handlebar is not a round tube. GS owners who have switched to an RT such as myself are suddenly faced with a problem when it comes to fitting RAM mounts to their bike. In this video I show a radical way around this and it works. I appreciate that very few have the necessary equipment to make the parts but this may give you idea's. RAM is not cheap but it is the original and the best. The 1" rubber ball is copied for about one third the cost. I have tried some and they work but they are not as well made as the genuine RAM. Lose your GoPro (as you will notice I did on the West Coast of Ireland) and that saving will soon be forgotten! I can make the various parts for you if you want them. The Clutch Lever set is: £28.00, Brake reservoir set: £26.00 and GoPro remote holder: £16.00. All include 1st class postage in the UK and anywhere else in the world for £11 for a tracked air freight Royal Mail (either for one item or the same for all 3).
