Ready to learn some swing jazz? I'm Joe and I love jazz bass! I spent a career as a rock bassist, and I still am, but jazz grew on me and while I learned about playing it, bassless jam tracks were a big help to me.
You'll find these jam tracks to sound different than the artist's records, it's meant to be that way. Get a feel for working through chord tones in each key - start with root notes, then roots and fifths, roots thirds and fifths and slowly expand with all the flair you're comfortable with from jamming on those rock songs. I did, and it feels great.
This track is “At Last" from Harry Warren (1942) -
