This Bible study devotional covers Jeremiah 40-44. In this passage, Judah’s story abruptly ends. Babylon invades, God’s people scatter, and Judah essentially vanishes. The only people of God left are imprisoned in Babylon.

As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Jeremiah 40-44, we see that in Jesus, God’s last word to us is not his powerful anger but his overwhelming love for us demonstrated in Jesus.

This devotional was created by the Spoken Gospel Theology Team. The original draft was written by Seth Stewart. Research assistance, theological, and editorial support was provided by David Bowden and Christine Kazar. Copy-edits were made by Carol Madison. And all of this is made possible because of generous readers and supporters like you.
