Episode 1 in a New Series showing a pilot familiar with flying powered aircraft transitioning onto a glider working up towards a first glider solo! This episode covers the main differences of flying a glider compared to a powered aircraft and we use the Falke Motorglider for the air exercises to create a shorter course, saving winch launches / aerotows and reducing cost; it's also a great way of teaching known to the unknown. In the next episode we cover field landings and glider circuits before moving onto fly the K21 Glider for the first time!
