The first Ben Wilson Namotu Kite Week of the year started with a bang - big swell hit Fiji on Saturday and increased into Sunday. Pros like Kohl Christensen had flown in especially but our team including Ben, Beau Pilgrim and guests Keahi De Aboitiz and Moona Whyte just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Low tide on Sunday afternoon saw a peaking swell and the best winds so we took the opportunity to head up and get pounded. Kite Week guests came along to cheer and aside from a few boards donated to the reef and some sketchy moments from Beau, the afternoon was smooth sailing.
