After putting our abandoned cabin renovation on hold for a week or so (as we were both a couple of sick puppies), we're back building our stone house albeit at 50% energy levels. We could of probably done with another week off, but being the restless folks that we are, we were desperate to get back on with the restoration. Summer is just around the corner, and we want to be working inside by the time it arrives!

We continued with the demolition/rebuilding of the wall under the windows in preparation for our new DIY window sills and eventually new windows! We're also back on project vegetable garden, beginning to set up our irrigation system.

Also say hi in the comments! We'd love to hear from you 😊

We're Ricky & Victoria 👋 We're slowly bringing an abandoned off grid Portuguese farm back to life & transforming it into a beautiful homestead for us & our two rescue dogs Teddy & Poppy.

We both agree that we’re not experts in anything that we do here, however we don’t let that stop us from giving it a try. We live our life by trying. We live our life by doing. We live our LIFE BY LIVING.
