Newly appointed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre “struggles to answer a question coherently” just like her boss President Joe Biden, Sky News host Rowan Dean says.

His remarks come after Ms Jean-Pierre was asked about a tweet from President Biden which said: “You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”

“It’s very important that, you know, as we’re seeing costs rise, as we’re talking about how to, you know — you know, build an America that is safe, that’s equal for everyone, and doesn’t leave anyone behind, that is an important part of that as well,” Ms Jean-Pierre said.

Ms Jean-Pierre has replaced Jen Psaki in the press secretary role.
