Ali Nadim is from Lahore, Pakistan. He is Muslim and his main rival is Ranjeet who is Sikh. Their rivalry is to portray the tensions in the Kashmir area between the Sikhs and Muslims. Ali Nadim is a comical character who amuses me in many episodes. He returns to class, Season 3, after completing Semester 1 and is still attending classes.
He initially was amused the Scottish Chauffer mocked Ranjeet, his nemesis, but when Jock mocked Ali, he got offended and proceeded to attack him before being stopped by Juan and Mr Brown
In this season, we find out Ali does not have a television licence. Back in the days, you are not allowed to own a TV set without a licence. Ali claims the licence do not apply to him because he only watches ITV
Ali, along with Anna, caused public nuisance by riding an elephant in a zoo without permission and causing damage to public property when they were tasked an assignment to do by Mr Brown
Ranjeet drew Ali's face and insulted him on the whiteboard, Ali thought Mr Brown did it but found out it was Ranjeet
Ali thinks he sounds like Sir Laurence Olivier and not a foreign sounding man when Mr Brown recorded all his students saying something(all except for Anna)
For the school fete, Ali and Ranjeet put tins for people to hit with a ball, but there's a twist! They nailed the tins to the wood so no one can hit the tins off at all.
The season finale focuses on Ali, where Ali tells Mr Brown he suspects his wife is cheating on him, his wife was not as she and Ranjeet planned a surprise party to thank him for being a good husband and giving her a beautiful child. That became complicated when Mr Brown intervened and made her think Ali was cheating on her, causing the food fight in the end
