Watching a Michael Caine movie is like pulling on a favourite jumper or pair of slippers. There's something comfy about his films and so many of the characters he plays. Sure he's been cast as a villain every so often, nut we tend to remember him for those warm and familiar roles, like his turn as the loveable rogue in the sixties hit 'Alfie'. Almost 50 years and 100 films have passed since that break-out performance, and Sir Michael hasn't skipped a beat. He's still winning over audiences and the odd reporter with his signature mix of charisma and that Cockney common touch.
