This video is not intended to be watched in full. I wouldn't want anybody to have to sit through that!
It is only really of interest to anyone who is building one of these kits and might want to see how we approached various parts of the build.

I thought it would be fun to let my daughter figure out most of it, I just interjected with sarcasm, constant tea drinking, and a little help here and there as needed.

Since this build, we have changed the stock firmware to Marlin 1.1.9, changed the hot end from a V5 to a V6, and upgraded the extruder from the original (Though as it turned out the minor problems we were having which we thought was the extruder was, in fact, a faulty hot end.)

There was also an issue with the power supply, which turned out to be down to the bridge rectifier not actually being soldered on to the circuit board. We managed to fix that, but the supplier refunded our money for the PSU anyway.

The printer has done a lot of work since and has been incredibly reliable.

For the money I would definitely recommend getting hold of one of these machines. If you are in the process of building one then I hope you can find something useful in this video to help you along. I certainly wish I had found one or two more detailed build videos when we were building ours.
