"It's interesting, you know, when you say you obviously like luxury. For me, actually, luxury is time. Luxury really, truly, is time. And I promise you I wasn't prepped by anybody at Longines to say that. Time with my children, time to love and share in as many beautiful moments with them as I possibly can. Because these years when they are so small, they go by so fast, and I don't want to miss any of it. I want to be able to pass on to them a great zest for life, a joy for living and a confidence within themselves to be who they are, and never to change".

"I do agree with Kate. When we say that we are, I guess in life, trying to slow down, trying to make more time for us, to be able to appreciate and live now, or also with those who are precious to us in our lives. Experience every moment in our personal lives aswell. And, it's wonderful. It isn't easy, because I guess we are constantly trying to strike a balance, but we enjoy every minute of it. We enjoyed it in our twenties, in the crazy flurry of our professional lives, and today, I guess, we have found the calm within that storm, as to how to be able to manage it all, and enjoy our time."

STORYLINE
THE STARS OF LONGINES NEW WATCH CAMPAIGN IN ROME
Rome was the scene of the new Longines watch campaign this Wednesday (8 September 2010).
The luxury watch brand presented it's new DolceVita collection and introduced British actress Kate Winslet as it's new 'elegance ambassador'.
Kate had some interesting musings on the subject of time, the obvious theme of the event:
"It's interesting, you know, when you say you obviously like luxury. For me, actually, luxury is time. Luxury really, truly, is time. And I promise you I wasn't prepped by anybody at Longines to say that. Time with my children, time to love and share in as many beautiful moments with them as I possibly can. Because these years when they are so small, they go by so fast, and I don't want to miss any of it. I want to be able to pass on to them a great zest for life, a joy for living and a confidence within themselves to be who they are, and never to change".
Kate was joined at the press conference by Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Asian film star Chi Ling Lin, all Longines ambassadors of elegance.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also had thoughts on the concept of time:

The three actresses are set to star in a promotional film for the luxury brand based on the Federico Fellini's film "La Dolce Vita".
