We all know minorities, especially black entrepreneurs, have difficulty securing business capital.

The U.S. Department of Commerce has launched the Capital Readiness Program grant competition. It will dedicate almost $100 million to organizations with expertise to assist and train underserved entrepreneurs seeking resources to start or scale their businesses.

Earlier today, I spoke to Don Graves, Jr., the Deputy Secretary of Commerce, who explained how the program benefits black-owned businesses.
