Join me today as we venture out to Copper Hill, Tennessee to see what remains of the infamous copper mining industry. For many years, the mining region of Copper Hill, TN was named by the EPA as one of the worst environmental disasters in US history. Copper in the area was both mined and smelted from 1843 till the last mine closed in 1987.
