Since I hadn't posted a Dementieva match in a long time, this is one of 13 or 14 matches of Elena's that I have from 2005 or earlier that I didn't make a highlights reel of yet. Most of the rest are losses are unremarkable, but I'll get around to them eventually.

With this victory, of course, Elena secured her sitting duck position at the YEC the following week in Los Angeles, but good for her for getting revenge on this very good doubles player who had beaten her a couple of weeks earlier in Linz. Unfortunately final 4 games of set 1 are missing, the point Elena won at net leaves us at 3 games all, and the first three games of the third set are missing too.
