What are the different bronze blocks and cleats for? And where do they go on the boat? These questions are answered in this episode of The Art of Boat Building by boat builder Bob Emser. After casting and finishing the bronze blocks and cleats for the Haven 12¹⁄₂ Bob explains their different purposes and where they are installed on the boat. The Haven 12¹⁄₂ requires 10 block and 6 cleats.
