People spew opinions on the Ford Lightning based on emotions, not facts. Then again, there are plenty of people who ignore the facts and choose to focus on the potential the F-150 Lightning has rather than the reality of its shortcomings. I'm trying to cut through all of the BS and deliver a straight up honest take on the Lightning. Is it for everyone? No. Can it do all the things the Rivian R1T can do? No. Do cold weather and towing affect range? Yes. Is this still the EV I would personally buy over the Mustang Mach-E and Hyundai Ioniq5, both of which I very much like? Yes, yes it is. WHY?
