In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, there is no of VFX i.e. green background. Film makers have kept almost 99% of the locations original. Animation has been used to make the ghost appear more gaudy and scary. The first sequence of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was directed by Priyadarshin but this time directed by Anees Bazmee. He has earlier made hits like Ready and Welcome. The shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was started from 9 October 2019. Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu or Rajpal Yadav are in the lead cast of this film.
