With today's wild fuel prices it was time to drive something that isn't a 3/4 ton diesel truck. So I bought one of my cars again. The 2017 Chevy Volt Premier is a huge upgrade from the gen 1 I owned for years. The gen 2 Volt is a more complete package with features you'd expect on a luxury vehicle, and the Premier made them standard at an accessible price. With 52 miles of EV range and all the range you could ask for on unleaded gasoline there is no range anxiety. All of that combined ads up to a daily driver/commuter car that is good at everything, earning it my title for best daily driver.
