According to JNS Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Tobin, the current state of U.S.-Israel Relations is quite low. Tobin believes that a morally responsible government in Washington should be focusing on pressuring Hamas to release the hostages. He described the anti-Israel vote as "a moral diversion and deeply, deeply wrong...a moral catastrophe."
