Experience the beautiful fall colors and picturesque scenery of Algonquin Park in a canoe trip!
This trip was completed last year, in early October 2022. The chilly weather dipped multiple times below freezing temperatures over night, which accelerated the change in fall foliage, showcasing the peak colors of the season. Algonquin Park is a beautiful place to experience it.

We carefully planned our route to minimize long portages, as we had carried a hot tent and stove. This trip provided an excellent opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the new equipment, ensuring preparedness for upcoming winter escapes.

Our overall experience in backcountry camping was truly exceptional for seeking solitude. Not only did our hot tent work like a charm, but it also didn't rain on this trip. The vibrant colors of the landscape created a picturesque backdrop, and our lakeside meals were nothing short of gourmet joy.

Clydegale is a lake to consider, as I would say there is only one average campsite; every other campsites were exceptionally good.

Join us as we share our exciting outdoor adventure, the beauty of fall camping, and delectable campsite cuisine. May this video be a catalyst, in reigniting your enthusiasm for adventures in the backcountry.
