Access to your short-term rental accommodation is protected with Tedee smart lock.

It's an electronic device that unlocks the door after you enter the PIN on a keypad:
the small numeric keyboard on the doorframe, outside the place.
The PIN will be sent to you via e-mail or Airbnb chat a couple of days before the reservation date.

With a smart lock, you will check in to your accommodation and unlock the door every time you return.
You also use the PIN to lock the door: every time you leave and at the end of your stay.
