This video contains two recent rated matches I had with the LV2 Black Rider on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 450-500 cost raid with high melee damage, a sea serpent style heavy stun whip, arm grenades with good power, an invisibility camo sub-weapon, the same great melee swings as the Pixy along with a HADES/EXAM style touchpad skill which massively boosts stats. It suffers from a long cooldown instant stun and very low beam defence, so generals like Pale Rider VG or Marasai can really put the hurt on a poorly positioned Black Rider. I was really bad with this suit before it got buffed but I was recently able to get some solid matches with it in rated to upload. It is a really fun suit that can switch between ambushing enemies with stealth camo or going on a rampage with THEMIS mode as needed. I actually prefer the 500 cost version over the 450 cost version thanks to great stats scaling and not having to fight as many GM III Powered players. I hope that you enjoy watching!

Its primary weapon at LV2 is a rail cannon with 1700 power, 3 ammo, 8 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload time, 1.2 seconds swap time, 305m range and 40% stagger value. This weapon instantly stuns, pierces and has very high velocity. It is quite poor looking past that though, with only three ammo and having one of the longest cooldown times for an instant stun in the entire game.
Its primary melee weapon at LV2 is a pair of heat daggers with 2600 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 60%/36% combo modifier. It has only modest combo modifier, but the high base power and short swap time means it is both easy to use and hard hitting. It shares the same amazing moveset as the Gundam Pixy, but on a suit with a good enough loadout to take full advantage of it.
Its first sub weapon is an arm anchor with 2310 power, 5 seconds cooldown and 0.5 seconds swap time. This is a pretty standard sea serpent/heat rod style weapon that heavy staggers on hit with a wire that shoots out in front of you. It shoots from the left arm which can make aiming a little bit tricky, but it has fast velocity and good power.
Its second sub weapon is an arm grenade launcher with 900 power, 4 ammo, 225 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 35% stagger value. This stuns in 3 hits like the typical arm grenade launcher. Against supports or other raids you can hit for big chunks of damage with a railgun to arm grenades combo.
Its third sub weapon is active camo with 1 ammo, 15 seconds reload and 0.5 seconds swap time. This weapon turns the MS invisible for 15 seconds and grants LV3 Stealth while active, but doing things such as boosting or swapping weapons cancels the effect. It also cannot be used while THEMIS is active. You still make sounds while walking and enemies can still see the advantage/disadvantage indicator when aiming at you, but this can be very useful to ambush enemies with.
Its fourth sub weapon is beam disrupting film with 1 ammo, 25 seconds reload and 0.5 seconds swap time. Using this weapon reduces incoming beam damage taken by 45%.

The LV2 Black Rider has 18000 HP, 17 ballistic resist, 6 beam resist and 26 melee resist. It has good defensive stats other than the pitiful beam defence, but using the beam disruption film at the right times can somewhat make up for it. It has LV2 Maneuver Armor and LV1 Emergency Evasion for defensive skills.
It also has 125 walking speed, 210 boosting speed, 60 thrust and 69 turning speed. It has 205 boost speed at 450 cost which is a bit low, but 210 is fine for 500 cost. It gets LV1 Forced Injector before THEMIS activates. Its mobility and damage goes through the roof once it activates the THEMIS skill via the touchpad. This lasts for 60 seconds and adds +25 melee modifier, +5 walking/boosting speed, reduces thrust used by 35%, adds +18 turn speed, LV2 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Offence System, but it reduces all defences by 5 and once the timer runs out then your head and legs will become broken.

Overall I think that the Black Rider is one of the stronger raid options for 450-500 cost after its somewhat recent buff. It has low beam defence and a long cooldown time for its instant stun but it can go on an absolute rampage if the player using it can use it correctly. Ambushing enemies with the stealth camo isn't always practical, but it can cause real chaos if used at the right time. The THEMIS mode lets it just go wild in melee as well, dealing massive melee damage and becoming ridiculously mobile. I think it is a suit with a definite learning curve, but still quite powerful once mastered. I can definitely recommend it for players who are comfortable with using touchpad activated stat boosts such as EXAM. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
