This is how we ran the Starlink cable through the side of our Airstream - using the Cable/Satellite port.

There's nothing wrong with keeping the Starlink router outside of the Airstream and using Wi-Fi to connect; we did that for several months. We kept ours in a tote behind the steps/under the Airstream and it worked just fine. Some people even keep their router on top of the tires. (If you do that, be sure to check before you drive away!!)

When we had to remove our dinette seat to fix a water heater problem (   • Our Airstream has NO HOT WATER!!  ) we discovered how easy it would be to bring the connection in through the existing Cable/Satellite port. No drilling. No expensive adapters. Some assembly required.

We also walk you through cutting the cable and putting network connectors on it to make the connection possible. This is the scariest part of the process; if you haven't done any cabling work before, you might want to practice a couple of times on regular network cable before cutting the Starlink cable.
