“I had so many people to look up to, and I only hope that I’m someone that they look up to also.”

Robyn Wright started CrossFit as a teen at CrossFit Glasgow and credits the affiliate with changing her life, improving her confidence, and exposing her to different opportunities.

Five years later, Wright leads the teens program at the affiliate, hoping to give them the same opportunities and experiences she had.

“I definitely want to give them a safe space where they feel like they can have all the confidence, they have a say, (and) they can learn new things,” Wright says.

Wright, who is also part of CrossFit’s Seminar Staff, says she’s looking forward to competing in the Open this year not only to track her own progress but to celebrate members going “that little bit further than they think is possible.”
