Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing, taste testing, and talking about Diet-To-Go to give you our review of this weight loss meal delivery service.

Diet-To-Go is not new to the diet meal delivery industry. In fact, they've been around since the late 90's, making them one of the longest running meal delivery services we've tried.

They have a handful of plans available—Balance, Balance Diabetes, Carb30 (Keto), and Vegetarian. For this review, we got a mix of their Carb30 meals. They call these their keto meals but, to me, they're more in line with Atkins diet.

I'll be honest, based on the packaging, I didn't have high hopes in terms of flavor. Before the meals were plated, they looked "meh" in the plastic trays. That being said, I was shocked at how good they tasted. These do not taste like "diet" or "weight loss" meals by any meals. While I taste tested the chicken marsala in this video, afterwards we ate the rest and they each were just as delicious.

While the meals tasted good there are 2 negatives I'd like to point out:

1. The meals are portion and calorie controlled so you may get a but hungry. The good news is Diet-To-Go's plan does encourage snacking and they give you some examples of snacks that you can eat between meals.

2. Like many pre-made meal delivery services, there is a lot of plastic waste. The majority can be recycled but we like to call it out regardless.

Other than that though, Diet-To-Go is a good way to "jump start" your diet or weight loss goals. Just as an FYI, you'll want to make sure you talk to a doctor or medical professional prior to starting or changing your diet.
