Yeah.... this one should speak for itself. Episode 3 and we're just finally getting to a game that we can actually launch and play. I wish we couldn't. This video features my first impressions and a full review of one of the largest and most popular Metaverses, Decentraland. In 2022, the term "Metaverse" seems to be thrown around constantly, with even places like Wal-Mart and The UPS Store having shops open within the metaverse. But... what is The Metaverse? What does it look like? Can I play it today?

I hope to answer all of those questions in more, in today's episode of "Worst Crypto Game Ever?". We take a deep dive into the $1B crypto metaverse of Decentraland and review it from the perspective of a gamer. Gamers are known to be a rather picky bunch, especially when it comes to games that include trendy things like Crypto and NFTs, so it's no surprise that there has been a ton of controversy surrounding Decentraland so far.

But with the game's poor performance, confusing interface, and overall poor gameplay, Decentraland stands in 2022 as more of a black sheep in the metaverse industry, with player counts hardly reaching over 200 on even the busiest days. How much longer will Decentraland be around, and will the players ever manage to sell the land that they purchased in 2021, hoping to double their money?
With players still trying to sell land at minimum prices over $1000, there is little volume in this Metaverse's economy, since it is very rare for new people to buy into Decentraland. Additionally, all of the initial plots sold out in the first 30 seconds of the game's first launch, so the land market is completely controlled by the players at this point. The result is the current state of Decentraland, a game with a stagnant economy, a declining playercount, and an overall embarrassing presentation. Buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
