Bow Drill... It's dishonest for some of our favorite experts to make it look like they are JUST THAT GOOD! They appear to be finding "on the spot" freshly found materials straight from nature that they've never seen before... No, I think they've already scouted those materials beforehand. They know where they are, how dry they are, where all the dead standing is, where all the tinder, cordage material, and rocks for cutting tools are at.They know state of decay, how long since it has rained, and how favorable the humidity is that day.
Is it right to make people think that you can just walk out into any UNFAMILIAR woods locate ideal tools and materials and just whip them up into a friction fire?
