The SPA-Francorchamps circuit has very few days in derogation noise during the year, apart from such must-see sporting events as the Formula 1 World Championship and the 24-hour race. Pagani had two full days available for its "Art on the Track" program, within which enthusiastic Huayra R owners can experience the incredible experience that this car and its Team ensure.

On one of these two days at SPA, there was room to invite me to try out the car as well and the super-exclusive track day organization made in Pagani. With one of the cars not intended for customers, I got to experience for myself what this program means in its entirety, starting with the pit environment, where everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail to make the track day unforgettable for the lucky Huayra R owners.

I change in the locker room where I see Pagani-specific suits hanging from very useful coolers that cool them down between shifts, there would be one for me too, I'm tempted to put it on but I'm too attached to mine. There are gloves, helmets, a physical therapist available to those who need them with all those G-forces the machine unleashes. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail as Pagani has always accustomed us to. So much do I look forward to driving that I don't notice how much comfort and pampering there is within this organization, to the point that I don't even turn on the air conditioning that the car even has. I only learn later that Team Pagani has managed to develop an air conditioning system that makes the car livable even at the highest temperatures, something that, on a race car, can make all the difference in so many circumstances. In my place, how many people would have asked, "Will there be air conditioning?" Yet there is!

I feel special thinking that I am one of the very few who have driven both the Zonda and the Huayra R, and between adrenaline and a feeling of pride, I hear the customers' cars pass by on the straight parallel to the pit lane with an ethereal howl. The ignitions of the 850- and 9,000-rpm V12s a few feet away from me are awe-inspiring, at least that's how I think it must be for people in their right mind. They have the same effect on me as siren songs; I am inextricably drawn, so much so that I think I am the only one in the paddock without earplugs.
